In our English class we read Dracula by Bram Stoker, a Starter Reader from Richmond. You can see the cover of the book on the left.
Our classmate Amal made her own version of the cover drawing. It's very nice! Take a look!
Now we know that the character of Dracula is not an invention, but a real person: Prince Vlad III of Wallachia who lived in Transylvania, from 1431 to 1476. The name Dracula means son of Dracul, which in Romanian suggest "dragon" or "devil".
We liked a lot the story because the book tells the famous story of Count Dracula but in a funny way. The illustrations are really cute and help you to understand the story.
We give the book a 9!
